What are Studio Writer Threads?

You can think of Studio Writer Threads as dedicated "files" that contain information pertaining to the document you are working on. We recommend organizing your Studio Writer Threads by student name (or initials, like A.B.).

What are Template Sections?

Within each Studio Writer Thread, you will have Template Sections. For example, if you are working on a psychological evaluation for a student A.B., you might create sections such as Demographics, Reason for Referral, Tests Administered, Behavioral Observations, Test Results, Summary, and an Appendix Section. You can name your sections anything you want.

Troubleshooting

I tried using the Report Writer Essentials tool and it did not add text. What should I do?

No worries, please follow these steps:

  1. First, hit refresh and see if that does the trick.

  2. If that doesn’t work, try creating a new template section and then running the tool again.

  3. If you're still having trouble, send us a note ASAP at [email protected].

Is there a limit on how much content I can paste within a template section thread?

Yes, you should only paste about 5mb (essentially 5-6 pages) per template section.

Is there a limit on how many template threads I can have?

No. Create as many template sections as you wish.

I received an error message. Is my data lost?

No, your data is not lost. We save on our end. Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "STUDIO RECOVER 911" and a short note. We will prioritize recovering your work.

My tables are formatting funky. What's the issue?

Sometimes "shift" happens! We can help. Please shoot us a message at [email protected] with detailed information and a screenshot of the issue.

I'm trying to change my table headers, but it’s not working.

This is a known bug that we are actively working on. The color change is being applied, but it doesn't display correctly inside the platform. You will see the correct colors when you export the document. A fix for the display issue is coming soon!
